The hotel itself is not to far from the action and close to a subway station, clean, secure and provides stable WiFi. For NY standards the room was pretty spacious if you don’t have a lot of luggage, with a good bed and bathroom, daily cleaning and the coffee maker was a nice and appreciated extra. I read a lot of negative reviews about the breakfast, well it’s definitely not the most extensive one I’ve ever had but not to bad for an American one: there’s a little bit of everything and it does the job. And nowadays there are 10+ tables in the breakfast areas and in six days (ok, it was January) at different hours I did not have to wait a single time. So overall and definitely NYC price wise I think it’s a good deal!

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was basic but with enough options. It was relatively quiet despite its proximity to the expressway. I could hear the traffic at night but it wasn't super disruptive. A few guests slamming doors and being loud were more annoying than the expressway itself. The staff was nice and attentive, including the manager. The subway station is about 5 minutes away.

Building is new, rooms were clean, Reception guy was very helpful in guiding us for planning our 2 days stay in NY. Although parking lot is small (and extra charge) but we got a spot at check-in. You can also park in the street. Hotel location is near to many food options. Metro station is 5min walk, from there you can access directly to all major attractions in Manhattan by Train (Line "R").

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight, so they stored our luggage until check-in without charging. We also were allowed to check in early due to the room being ready and available. The hotel was in a safe location, walking distance to the subway and various restaurants. The rooms were clean, so that was important for us.

I had stayed up late researching hotels on Booking.com wondering where I could find somewhere seemingly safe for my cousin and I to stay in NYC. I'm glad I did, because this place was safe and at an extremely convenient location to the subway station. To sum up, location and safety were great and I would highly recommend this place!
